Vintage France silverplated coffee pot jug with Ebony wood handle
This silver-plated Malmaison teapot, with its striking ebony wood handle, adds refinement and elegance to any afternoon tea or brunch.
The Malmaison silverplate hollowware pattern was introduced in 1980 to rave reviews. It is one of Christofle's most historic patterns and typifies the Empire style associated with Napolean and Josephine. It features a frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and a wood handle. The coffee pot is approximately 10" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. It is in excellent condition! This coffee pot retails new for $2,500.
