This beautiful silver sequined evening bag is well over 60 years old. The maker was Whiting and Davis Mesh Bag with brand on inside of rim. It shows the model number as 2908. It looks as if it has never been carried. The size is 4 1/2 inches tall and about 5 1/4 wide. It contains a comb and small mirror never used or even opened. The interior is of heavy sateen fabric that shows no age. The cloth is sewn with wire that goes through hundreds of very small holes positioned around the inside edge of the silver appearing frame. It is shown to be made in America. This would be a wonderful gift for a young lady to carry when she is going out foe an evening event.
