The ideal person for this job likes building relationships, has excellent attention to detail, keeps safety top of mind and is able to work day shifts. An exterior bus cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of buses from the outside. This role is crucial not only for maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the buses but also for ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

COACH BUS CLEANER JOB DUTIES: 

• Operate pressure washing equipment to clean and remove dirt, grime, and other substances from surface areas such as buildings, sidewalks, driveways, and vehicles which includes windows, doors, and body panels
• Polishing and Waxing vehicles, maintaining the shine and protecting the paint of the bus
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe operation of equipment and the protection of yourself and others
• Assess surfaces to determine the appropriate pressure and cleaning solution required for effective cleaning as well as removing debris that accumulates on the exterior of the bus.
• Move and position equipment as needed to access different areas for cleaning
• Inspecting the vehicles for damage or defects on the exterior of the bus and reporting them for repairs
• Maintain a clean work area by properly storing equipment and materials after each day as well as ensuring that cleaning equipment, such as brushes, hoses, and water supplies, are well-maintained and in good working condition
• Communicate with team to understand their specific cleaning needs
• Maintaining records of cleaning schedules, products used and issues encountered during cleaning
• Other duties as assigned 

COACH BUS CLEANER SKILLS: 

• Previous experience in pressure washing or similar field preferred but not required
• Knowledge of different types of surfaces and appropriate cleaning techniques
• Ability to operate pressure washing equipment effectively and safely
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of surfaces
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills

COACH BUS CLEANER REQUIREMENTS: 

• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to work Day Shift
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
