Job Description

Northwestern College is seeking applicants for the position of director of esports. Red Raider esports is a premier varsity program competing at the national level while claiming two GPAC tournaments titles in 2025 with a roster of 30+ students.  This is a full-time, 10-month (August to May) position. Join the excellent Red Raider athletic department which has claimed 16 GPAC regular season and tournament titles in the past two years, sent 16 teams to the NAIA postseason, and finished in the top 20 of the 2023-2024 NAIA Learfield Cup standings. Responsibilities will include administering and promoting the program in a manner consistent with the Christian mission and goals of Northwestern’s athletic department. The director will lead practices, recruit new athletes, and develop positive relationships with assistant coaches and athletes alike. This position will also involve additional athletic department duties.

A master’s degree is preferred, but all qualified candidates for the position will be considered. Applicants must possess excellent knowledge of esports with previous coaching experience.
