An international manufacturing leader is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of its U.S. headquarters in Montgomery County, PA. This position offers the opportunity to be the top financial voice for the U.S. entity while working closely with executive leadership and global headquarters. The role blends strategic finance, hands-on leadership, and cross-border collaboration in a company serving highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities
● Direct all core finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
● Lead cost and inventory accounting for complex, high-value equipment and components
● Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, audits, and tax regulations
● Partner with leadership on pricing, investments, and operational efficiencies
● Serve as the primary liaison to global headquarters for consolidated reporting
● Develop financial systems and reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making
● Build and mentor a capable finance team to support company growth
Qualifications
● 8+ years of progressive finance leadership, ideally within manufacturing or capital equipment industries
● Strong foundation in cost accounting, GAAP, and inventory management (ASC 330)
● ERP expertise (SAP, Oracle, or similar) along with advanced Excel/reporting skills
● CPA preferred; MBA a plus
● Prior experience in a global or cross-border organization highly valued
