UNION PRODUCTION DAY SHIFT SELECTOR / LOADER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

This is a UNION PRODUCTION DAY SHIFT SELECTOR / LOADER POSITION with the best-in-class health benefits and is the starting point for a lucrative career in the beer industry. As the front line of our operation, you will be responsible for scanning, picking, packing, and wrapping products then placing on pallets/carts to minimize the potential for breakage. In this role, you will utilize an electric pallet jack to move the product throughout the warehouse. Additional responsibilities include put-away of return products while maintaining a clean warehouse environment.

As a 4-Day Work Week position, this role requires the person to work until the orders are completed and may exceed regular hours, requiring paid overtime with limited notice. The work takes place in everyday warehouse environments where the temperature is controlled.

Schedule: 10:00am-8:30pm / Monday - Thursday

Starting Pay: $17.65/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pull orders as directed by pick system.
2. Scan, pick, pack, and wrap product to a pallet or delivery cart.
3. Ensure that all products are handled and stacked safely and securely to prevent damage.
4. Ensure accuracy of product through systematic quality controls.
5. Stage pallet or cart in designated area for loading process.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
8. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
9. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time.
5. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Forklift certification a plus.
