Mystica Mapunda Ngongi

Mystica Mapunda Ngongi is a registered advocate and notary public of the High Court of Tanzania since 2004. She joined Tanzania Commercial Bank in 2006 as Senior Manager of Legal Services (after Exim Bank experience), rising to Chief Manager in 2009 and Director of Legal Services and Company Secretary in 2013. An accomplished legal expert with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from the University of Dar es Salaam and an MBA in Corporate Management from Mzumbe University, she specializes in corporate governance, legal advisory, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions in the financial sector. Beyond her career, she serves as a board member for several institutions, excels in conflict resolution, and is passionate about coaching, mentorship, and counseling for leaders and professionals, as well as family counseling on legal, social, and marital issues. She holds certifications as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK), a Certified Director with Mastery in Directorship from the Institute of Directors in Tanzania, and membership in the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, focusing on ethics and fraud prevention. She has also coordinated distance learning courses for professional development.
